i'm treading water with my oars, glass galleon anchored, ocean floors.

Music and books suggestions. I'm open minded so i'm willing to read and listen to anything. Large books do not intimidate me.

the title sounds fun. i'm guessing the humor is almost somewhere the same as a series of unfortunate events..thats what i'd think it'd be like from the title.

I'm currently reading Bell Hooks' "The Will to Change," and it made me cry by the time I got to page 15.

they didn't bother me but I've read a lot of screwed up stories. Running With Scissors to me is a lot worse than The Bell Jar.

yes, there is. I don't like how they are turning every frigging book into a movie. its depressing in a way.

i'm currently reading the unbearable lightness of being and it's amazing.
lolita is really really good imo, the movie is also worth watching (the stanley kubrick version not the newest one though)
and if you haven't seen them already: eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, last days, rushmore, the science of sleep, ghost world, lost in translation, amores perros.... etc etc i could go on forever ; )
oh and the perks of being a wallflower is an awesome book as well.

i've been meaning to read the perks of being a wall flower, but i just figured it was like that book 'forever' u know basically just a little giggle for teens because its a book that actually talks about sex..but apparently i'm wrong because so many people tell me how good this book is.

i love eternal sunshine, it's one of my favorites. I've been wanting to see Science of sleep.
